Angelina Lai

Angelina is a qualified actuary and her career spans across the UK, Europe, United States and Asia working in life insurance, bancassurance and wealth management, with a focus on Asset & Liability Management, investment and capital matters.
 
Angelina is passionate about sustainability and is a volunteer with a number of different organisations in various roles including being the editor for a sustainable finance newsletter, a research group on carbon pricing and sequestration, and she is involved in public education events on topics of ocean conservation and plastic pollution.

Justin Onuekwusi
Chief Executive Officer, Investments
St. James's Place

Justin joined St. James’s Place in October 2023. With more than 20 years’ experience in the investment management industry, Justin leads the development of St. James’s Place’s investment proposition, asset allocation approach and selection of external fund managers. Justin is also chair of the Investment Committee covering the full range of funds at SJP and has responsibility for investment oversight of the discretionary fund management part of the SJP business.

In addition to his former role as Head of Retail Investments, EMEA and Head of Retail Multi-Asset Funds at Legal & General Investment Management, Justin has also held positions at Aviva Investors, Merrill Lynch/Bank of America and Aon Consulting.

Outside of his role at SJP, Justin has also shown leadership throughout the industry championing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion receiving various accolades and recognition. In 2020 Justin was awarded the Honour of the Freedom of the City of London.

David Line
Consulting Director, Hong Kong,
Economist Enterprise Corporate Network

David Line has spent his career writing about Asian economics and business affairs, advising the world’s largest organisations on communications strategy and effective stakeholder engagement, and connecting senior executives with their peers.

Between 2005-2015 David also worked for The Economist Group, first as a correspondent in Hong Kong for the EIU’s daily ViewsWire service before heading the Economist Enterprise Corporate Network in Tokyo. Returning to Hong Kong as Managing Editor for the Industry & Management Research team in Asia, he acted as the team’s global lead for financial services research.
